The famous author of English books, Carol Read, tells the stoy of the MOON in the RIVER.

VOCABULARY:

• And we suggest this fun activity to make the 8 PHASES of the MOON with OREO cookies: 

You will need: 

• 8 Oreo cookies 
• Ask your dad or your mum to use a knife or other tool for scraping the frosting 

What to do: 

1. Take 8 OREOS and separate the cookies from the frosting.
2. Use the popsicle stick to create the phases of the moon out of the frosting. 
3. Arrange the phases of the moon in order.

• 12 humans have walked on the moon 
• The gravity on the moon is 1/6th the gravity of the Earth
