Storytelling: THE VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR

Hello little ones! 

New week, new story and a new adventure for all of you. We hope you are all very happy now that you have started visiting your loved ones and enjoyed being with them! 

The story that we bring this week is an all-time favourite, that some of you might already know and have at home...It's called  The Very Hungry Caterpillar written by Eric Carle. We are sure you are going to love it in English and learn about lots of different things like...

• food (apple, pear, plum, strawberry, orange, chocolate cake, ice-cream,...), 
• days of the week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday...), 
• numbers and 
• the lifecycle of a very special animal...

Can you guess which one it is?

Do you know now where do butterflies come from? 

Now that you can go for a walk and investigate outside, let's do a BUGS SCAVENGER HUNT:

You can also do some addition (Infants 5) to practise adding numbers together:

For our ARTS & CRAFTS section we have some ideas that you might like trying at home: 

You can make your own caterpillar with modelling clay (plastilina) and make it eat some yummy food or turn into a butterfly!

Or you can recycle any materials you find at home to make your caterpillar or a beautiful butterly!

Or even have a hungry caterpillar PICNIC!, it's fun and super yummy!!!

Sing along with these hungry caterpillars and their yummy food!!!

And if you like doing some exercise you can do some YOGA with THE VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR, it's great fun!!!
