4th Grade: OUR TOWN

This is our PROJECT for UNIT 1: MY TOWN

Thanks everybody for your beautiful and creative buildings for our town.

Everybody worked really hard and received a diploma in recognition of their effort. 

In our town there is....
a museum, a shopping centre, a town hall, a hospital, a medical centre, a train station, a bus station, a police station, a beach, a factory.... 

And there are many shops, restaurants, houses and parks.

THANKS EVERYBODY!!! WELL DONE!!

WEEKCAMP 2019: 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th Primary








 This is the 3rd time that we go to the Weekcamp in Garaña de Pría in Llanes and these are some of the pictures of the 3-day immersion programme, surrounded by Nature and doing fun activities in English.

SCIENCE: 6th grade: ANIMALS PROJECTS

Children at Year 6 have prepared a project about ANIMALS, each of them investigated a type of vertebrate or invertebrate animal. Fantastic job! Well done!!



E-TWINNING PROJECT: KIDS LOVE FAIRY TALES


At our school, we have been working on a lot of FAIRY TALES, one per grade throughout this last semester.

E-twinning is a collaborative platform across Europe where schools can work together on common goals and projects.

These are some of the pictures as a summary of all the activities we have done together!

Primary Year 1: Train Cake



As a final activity for the Unit about TRANSPORTS in Science-Arts-English,
children from Primary Year 1 built a train cake to learn vocabulary about the train in a motivating way: wagon, locomotive, wheels, sticks, window, train driver!

It was a sweet surprise! and they all enjoyed it very much!

Science Project: The water cycle, Primary Year 3


Children at Year 3 are learning about the WATER CYCLE using multiple resources:

  • Experiments (water cycle in a plastic bag, going to the kitchen to see the 3 states of water)
  • Wall-display with the 4 processes of the Water Cycle: evaporation, condensation, precipitation, accumulation
  • Songs, games, chants, etc.
  • Worksheets to understand better and do some activities both individually and in small groups.

Science Project: My life, Primary Year 3

Children at Year 3 have done a project in Science as part of the UNIT 1:

WE GROW AND CHANGE. It was called: MY LIFE.

They brought pictures from home when they were babies, and we talked about the 4 different stages in life: childhood / adolescence / adulthood / old age.

They also did an interview to their GRANDMOTHER/ GRANDFATHER to share their experiences.
